CYCLE SIZE GUIDE:

Getting the size right is probably the most important part of choosing your new cycle. But how do you work out what size to get? We recommend that the best way is to, come in and try out a few different models, and see what you feel comfortable with. This way, you can be sure of getting a bike that you are comfortable and, most importantly, safe with. It also means that we can recommend the size that we feel will be most suitable for you and your needs.

However, if you can't make it into the shop, don’t worry - there are some rough guidelines below that can give some idea of what size you will need. We must stress, though, that these are only guidelines, and will not necessarily guarantee the size you will be most comfortable with.

As far as kids' bikes are concerned, it is often hard to tell which size will be best without trying them out. We do realise though, that this is sometimes not possible if buying a bike as a Christmas or birthday present, so there are some guidelines below for these as well. When buying a kid's bike, we recommend getting as large a size as possible, as this will give more growing room, and so increase the length of life you get out of the bike.
